Mother Clutcher aftermarket performance-tuned clutch is crafted as an OE-style Polaris primary (drive) clutch, designed specifically for 2016-2019 Polaris Ranger 900 XP models, including base and Crew XP versions.

Important Note: This clutch is not compatible with 2013-2016 Ranger 900 models unless you flash the ECM for a higher RPM limit or install a 2016-2019 Ranger ECM on your 2013-2016 model.

This clutch engages at around 2000 RPM, similar to OEM, but offers enhanced high-gear performance. By 20 mph, it allows the engine to reach 4600 RPM compared to the OEM's 4200 RPM. During wide-open throttle, it keeps the engine within a higher power range of 7500-7800 RPM—similar to a 2015+ RZR 900—rather than being limited below 6800 RPM, as with the OEM Ranger clutch.

On a stock 2018 Ranger 900 XP, this clutch reached 60 mph with ease. Although acceleration naturally slows beyond 50 mph, the 0-50 mph response is noticeably faster, and typical trail riding feels more responsive, keeping the engine in its optimal power range.

Top speeds and acceleration may vary depending on tire size, belt, and secondary clutch condition. The factory rev limiter for 2016+ models is 8000 RPM, allowing for safe performance enhancement.
