This set includes a new EBS primary clutch, an upgraded tied-type secondary clutch, and a puller tool, specifically designed for all 2016 and newer Polaris General 1000 models. It’s also perfect for adding engine braking to General 1000 XP models, which originally lacked EBS.

The EBS primary clutch comes pre-tuned with weights and a spring already installed, making it ready to bolt on and ride. With upgrades to critical wear components, our primary clutches match or exceed the quality of the original.

The secondary clutch is a premium "tied-type" clutch that replaces the stock BOSS-style secondary found on all 2016+ General 1000 models, including both 2-seater and 4-seater configurations, S models, and XP models. This secondary clutch includes pre-installed helix and spring, as well as improved splines for easy installation and use across all 2016-current Polaris General models. It features round rollers rather than the original square pucks, providing smoother performance and durability.

EBS Specs (Engine Braking): The engine braking system is smoother than the stock setup for non-XP 2016+ General models, with a consistent slowdown when decelerating between 5-18 mph. This system provides more engine braking than the stock setup on General XP models, delivering a more reliable descent without abrupt engagement or release.
